Description

Homemade strawberry marshmallows are one of my favourite snacks to fill my sweet tooth! Keep reading to learn how to make this easy treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Cup Organic Cane Sugar ~ I like the Costco one (can substitute with raw honey or organic maple syrup
  •  1/2 cup of Mashed Organic Strawberries
  • 3 tbsp of Grass Fed Gelatin ~ I like THIS brand
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 dish with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the water, placing half in a pot and the other half in your kitchen aid bowl. If you are using a hand mixer just place the other half in a bowl.
  3. Add gelatin to the kitchen aid bowl to bloom the gelatin. Make sure it is in an even layer.
  4. To your pot add the sugar and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil then turn down the heat to medium. Keep stirring the mixture the whole time until everything is dissolved!
  5. Once everything is dissolved, turn your kitchen aid on to level 1 and slowly begin pouring the hot mixture to the gelatin.
  6. Then add the strawberries.
  7. Once everything is evenly mixed together turn your kitchen aid on to level 8 for 10-12 minutes. The mixture should be risen, fluffy, and will slowly drip off the beater.
  8. Once you know the mixture is done, QUICKLY transfer to your dish and spread it out. It begins to set quickly so you have to move fast. Allow to set for 1 hour.
