How to make room spray with essential oils

  • Author: Hollyn From The Blog: Our Simple Graces

Description

In this post, I am sharing how to make room spray with essential oils. It is so simple to do and I love that you can make your room smell amazing without any of the toxic chemicals traditional store-bought room sprays contain.

Ingredients

  • Fine Mist Glass Spray Bottle
  • Unscented Witch Hazel
  • Filtered Water
  • Essential Oils
  • Small Funnel

Instructions

  1. Gather your materials and ingredients. You can measure out the water and witch hazel, however it is not crucial the amounts are exact for this recipe. So instead of measuring, I like to eyeball this one.
  2. Fill the glass spray bottle halfway with unscented witch hazel. Fill the rest of the bottle with filtered water – leaving room for the essential oils. Add in 25-30 drops of essential oils for a 2 oz spray bottle. Adjust the amount of essential oils if you are making your room spray in a larger bottle. I have listed my favourite combinations for room spray below.
  3. Place the spray nozzle back on the glass bottle, give it a little a shake and spritz your fresh, non-toxic room spray to experience all the benefits of air fresheners without all of the unhealthy qualities.
