Our Experience 

Our honeymoon was the most amazing adventure I have been on! We spent 6 days road tripping around Iceland and 8 days at home to get settled into our new home + fun day trips. I am going to recap our wedding day as soon as we receive our wedding photos, but let’s just say March 10th was pure bliss and I am so grateful for everyone who helped make my vision for our day come true. It was more than I could ever hope for.

After our wedding we had a relaxing first morning together in our new home and then that afternoon left for the airport! Our flight was 5 hours overnight and with the time change we arrived in Iceland at 5am local time. Since nothing was open and we were both exhausted we booked a room for the morning at the cutest inn to take a nap and get organized before we started the first leg of our adventure.

During our time in Iceland we drove all around the Reykjanes Peninsula, stood between the Eurasian + North American Tectonic Plates, explored the city of Reykjavik, stayed in Husafell, Reykjavik, and Vik.

Favourite experiences?

Andrew: Driving around with my love in another part of the world…obviously. Checking out the awesome waterfalls
and the lobster soup.

Jamie: My favourite experience would have to be our first day there we were on our wedding high and had so much fun starting our first adventure together. We also had the best weather and were blessed to see so many sites that day. Another really neat experience was seeing a geyser!
